Anette Lenz lives in Paris and is one of the most influential designers of the present day. Now the Museum Angewandte Kunst devotes an entire exhibition to her for the first time in Germany. Despite graphic design being a field that is still male dominated and driven by economic factors, she has retained her uniqueness and is part of a long overdue gender correction. This makes her a pioneer of a new generation of graphic designers, who are aware of their political and social role.
In her solo exhibition she will transform the Museum spaces into accessible graphic worlds that make visual communication tangible not as a consumer incentive, but as a sensualpoetic thought-provoking experience.
