Witold Riedel (born 1969) looks for patterns in systems that yearn for balance. Was passt sich an und wie? What adapts and how? What breaks and how? What grows and how? His works are often created on paper and with unusual materials: inks, flames, exhaust gases.
After studying at the Offenbach University of Design, Witold Riedel moved to New York in 1996 and returned to Offenbach in 2022 - hence the title of the exhibition: "Arrival". In the meantime, the artist has lived and worked around the world.
