As an editorial photographer for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the famous German photogropher Barbara Klemm has been responsible for the politics and features section during the years from 1970 to 2005.
She is best known for her portraits of people in politics and culture as well as her worldwide photo reports. Barbara Klemm came to Frankfurt in 1959 and since the mid-1960s, she observed and photographically documented life in the city. For the first time, the Historisches Museum Frankfurt is presenting a major exhibition with 230 photographs of her city views.
