Community gardens, hanging gardens, small gardens, allotment gardens, urban gardening ... the possibilities for gardening in the city are countless!
Apart from self-supply and free time, planting greenery seems to be a suitable measure to cope with the climate change and the city' s heat waves. What is the motivation behind gardening? What can we learn from gardeners if we want to make the city more sustainable?
From May 2020, the CityLab will be on the road and researching in gardens together with Frankfurt residents. At the same time, workshops will be organised at the museum with the aim of developing a CityLab exhibition in 2021.
