Jule Wertheimer, Mike Schäfer, and Pierre Verago have joined forces to form the neue kunstfreunde collective, which has its roots at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. With their initiative, they aim to promote contemporary artistic positions and create new spaces for art and exchange—both in institutions and independent venues. 

The exhibition series on the first floor of the House of City History, eins. 1–6 + 1, presents young artists' works, selected through an open call addressed to students from art schools and their communities. The goal is to connect young artists from the Rhine-Main region with artists throughout Germany. A wide variety of artistic movements were selected by the jury.
